Welcome to the Hunt’s Spring Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, (NSDAR )!  We’re so glad that you’ve chosen to spend some time getting to know us.  Our Chapter, which is located in Huntsville, Alabama, includes more than 185 members from not just the surrounding counties, but also several states. These members span the generations and share a common devotion to the goals of the National Society DAR:  historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

We invite you to attend one of our chapter meetings, which are held on the first Thursday of the month (September through May).  These meetings will give you the opportunity to meet chapter members as well as enjoy programs focusing on topics such as conservation, national defense, and women in American history.

Any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolutionary War is eligible for membership in DAR.  Hunt’s Spring Chapter welcomes new members and provides help to those interested in tracing their descent from patriots of the American Revolution.  Please contact us for more information.
